Preliminary Program

The Canadian cardiovascular community recognizes the CCC 2010 Scientific Program as an important educational forum for Canadian cardiovascular health professionals. The program delivers high-quality science and education through plenary sessions, lively debates, clinical trial updates, poster and moderated poster presentations, simultaneous oral sessions, interactive workshops, public forums, informal ‘Meet the Expert’ sessions and more.

As CCS Annual Meeting Chair, Dr. Rob S.B. Beanlands oversees all content-related activities within and associated with the CCS Scientific Program. In doing so, Dr. Beanlands ensures the Scientific Program provides attendees with the learning experience they seek. Click here to read more...

The objectives of the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress are to:

  • Provide a high quality scientific and educational experience for the delegates;
  • Disseminate information derived from Canadian cardiovascular research (basic, clinical, health services and population research);
  • Stimulate collaborative clinical and research initiatives;
  • Provide core learning opportunities for cardiovascular professionals;
  • Showcase and publicize the accomplishments of Canadian cardiovascular researchers, thereby identifying the importance of ongoing support for cardiovascular research in Canada, and
  • Foster discussions and debates that lead to cardiovascular health and care innovations
