In compliance with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada standards for accreditation, the CCS conducts both overall and individual session evaluations of CCC. As such, the CCS requests session planning committees evaluate their individual workshops and orals. Information collected from the individual evaluations is instrumental in understanding the effectiveness of your workshop and the educational needs of your participants. Evaluations are also used to shape the CCC of the future and provide important guidance and feedback to future workshop planners.
It is the responsibility of the session planning committee to distribute evaluations to their session attendees, as well as collect the completed evaluations and transmit a summary of the results to CCS.
In order to facilitate the session evaluation process for all individual sessions at CCC, the CCS provides an evaluation form (MS Word format) for use by session planning committees. The CCS strongly suggests session planning committees use this evaluation form as it has been designed and assessed by leading educational thought leaders enabling you to maximize the educational outcomes for your participants and to help you plan future educational goals.
Session committee planners are asked to return the completed summary to the CCS by November 30, 2011. These can be transmitted by e-mail to cpd@ccs.ca.
