Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I register for CCC?

On-line registration opens May 3, 2010. Registration is 100% on-line.

2. Why won't the system accept my credit card?

Your card may be rejected if the address verification you are entering is NOT your billing address. The address you enter must match exactly what is printed on your credit card statement. Your card may also not be accepted if you have made more than 5 transactions within a 24 hour period. You are NOT registered if your credit card was not accepted. If you leave the site, your information is not saved.

3. What is a CVN code and where do I find it?

The digits are printed on your card, rather than stamped in the plastic like the digits in your credit card number. American Express cards have 4 digits CVN numbers on the front of the card. Visa and MasterCard have the CVN printed as the last 3 digits on the back of the card. (Please note that some of the newer American Express cards have 2 CVN numbers, they also have 3 numbers on the back).

4. I registered and can no longer attend Congress. What is the refund policy/process?

A request for registration cancellation or registration category adjustment must be sent in writing to the Secretariat. A $50 administrative fee (plus applicable taxes) will apply. Refunds will not be issued after September 10, 2010.

5. I would like to register at the member rate but I am not a member.

To register at a member rate, you will need to be a member of one of the following organizations. Select the name of the organization you would like to join. You will be redirected to their Web site where you will find membership information and application forms.

6. Where can I book my hotel?

Before making your hotel reservation, you must first be registered to attend CCC. A full hotel listing with booking information will be available on this site in early May on the Accommodation and Travel page.

7. How do I become an exhibitor?

To become an exhibitor, visit the Exhibitor Prospectus page where you will find details on exhibiting, including links to the Exhibit Application Form and the Exhibitor Prospectus.

8. How can I obtain additional CME credits?

CCS offers free on-line accredited medical education sessions through the AdvancingIn Cardiovascular Health Internet Portal at www.Advancingin.com.  The courses can be found under the Partner Programs.

9. When will the Preliminary Program be available?

The program will be located on the Preliminary Program page in early May.
