Accreditation
The Canadian Cardiovascular Society’s (CCS) Scientific Program at the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress is an accredited group learning activity under Section 1 as defined by Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) for the Maintenance of Certification program.
Through an agreement between the American Medical Association and the RCPSC, the CCS designated this live educational activity - Canadian Cardiovascular Congress - for a maximum of 38.5 AMA PRA category 1 credit(s). Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
The CCS is an accredited provider of continuing professional development programs as designated by the RCPSC.
Nurses attending the Canadian Council of Cardiovascular Nurses (CCCN) Scientific Program at the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress may claim it as a continuous learning (CL) activity toward renewal of the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) certification credential if it is related to their nursing specialty.
Pre-authorization from the CNA Certification Program is not required. Participants are encouraged to retain a confirmation of attendance. |
