The CCS does not endorse booking hotel reservations via sources other than its official housing bureau.
Choosing to use the CCC's official housing bureau provides the CCS with valuable planning information, ensuring adequate hotel room blocks for all delegates. Rest assured, only our official bureau provides you with the simplest and most cost-effective way to book your hotel.
Booking within the block
Thank you for your interest in attending the 2012 Canadian Cardiovascular Congress (CCC). You play an important role in the financial viability of this unique event. One way that we keep Congress costs down is by booking room blocks in hotels around the Convention Centre. However; if we do not meet a minimum number of room nights, serious financial penalties are charged back to Congress. This results in increases to registration fees or reductions in services and activities at Congress.
Here's how you benefit from using the Housing Bureau and booking your hotel within the block:
- You get low rates and additional concessions which sometimes include free internet, parking, etc.
- You have a short walk from your Congress-endorsed hotel to the Convention Centre.
- You have access to clean rooms that have been audited by the Congress team.
- You help CCS avoid possible attrition penalties that can run into the hundreds of thousands of dollars and have a catastrophic impact on the Congress budget.

Payments
Two payments are required during the registration process; one for CCC 2012 registration and one for housing. The registration payment will be charged immediately to your credit card. All hotel reservations require a deposit of 1 (one) night's room plus tax. This may be reflected on your credit card statement as early as September 30, 2012.
