Through its Access to Care Working Group, the CCS has established wait time benchmarks for a wide range of cardiovascular services and procedures along the entire continuum of care. Our goal is to ensure that all heart patients receive the care they need, when they need it. To make this goal a reality, we need leadership and cooperation at all levels of the health system, from federal and provincial policy makers, hospital administrators and front-line health care providers.


Come join us to hear a lively discussion of the challenges, some opportunities and some practical examples of how to shorten the patient's journey through our cardiovascular health care system.


The Public Policy Session will be presented on Monday, October 23rd from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.
