On behalf of your co-hosts, the Canadian Cardiovascular Society and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, we would like to thank each participant at this year's Canadian Cardiovascular Congress for their participation. There were 3700 delegates in attendance, sharing leading edge science and creating a hub of activity in the Community Forum.

This high attendance illustrates the importance of CCC as a vehicle for cardiovascular education and represents continued and impressive growth in both national interest and participation in this premier Canadian cardiovascular event.

With 544 completed surveys to date, initial CCC 2007 evaluation responses include:
  • 88% of new delegates rated the overall quality of the Congress experience as good or very good
  • 77% of survey respondents agree or strongly agree that presentations were of a high instructional quality
  • Of the new offerings at Congress 2007, respondents rated the increased number of CCS workshops, the improved poster location within the Community Forum, and the Program At A Glance as the most beneficial
