New Benefit for Grand Patron/Accredited Symposia Providers Announced

The CCC is pleased to offer a new benefit to Grand Patrons who purchase an Accredited Symposia. As an added-value, CCC offers the opportunity for Grand Patrons to distribute Symposium Passes to anyone who may wish to attend your accredited symposium. These people do not need to be registered to attend as a Congress delegate.

Each breakfast and dinner Accredited Symposium ($37,500) will be allocated 35 Symposium Passes.  The mid-day Accredited Symposium ($75,000) will be allocated 75 Symposium Passes.

The Passes will list all Grand Patron’s Accredited Symposia and be distributed by CCS to Accredited Symposia planners by August 31, 2012.

Accredited Symposia planners must ensure the following:

Distribution of Symposium Passes

  • Grand patrons may distribute the Passes as desired and may retain a few passes for distribution on site.  Additional Passes will not be issued by the CCS or the CCC Secretariat.
  • When distributing the Pass, the related Accredited Symposium must be indicated with a check mark on the back of the Pass and initialed by the planner.
  • The person attending the Accredited Symposium must bring the Pass to Congress to be admitted to the Accredited Symposium – no exceptions will be made and replacement Passes will NOT be available.

Onsite coordination and logistics:

  • Only those with passes which the Symposium identified and initialed will be admitted to attend the Accredited Symposium.
  • The name and cellular phone number of a Accredited Symposium coordinator who will be present during the Symposium must be provided to the CCC Secretariat Registration Manager for pass dispute resolution 48 hours in advance.
  • Symposium planner must retain a perforated section of the Pass as the attendee enters the symposium to prevent the reuse of Passes.
  • Symposium planners must inform the attendee keep their portion of the Pass with them at all times.  CCC security may request to see the Pass as proof of access to the Accredited Symposium.
  • Symposium Pass holders will not be allowed access to any other CCC activity (except the Community Forum for the mid-day symposia).
  • Planners will incur all costs for meals and incremental staff that are required for the coordination of the Symposium Pass process.

Post Congress:

  • Planners must supply the CCS’s Accreditation Manager with the number of Symposium Passes redeemed after their Accredited Symposium is over.

Note:

  • This is a pilot project for CCC 2012.
