The registration process is now fully on-line, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week!
The benefits of the new fully on-line registration process include:
- Ability to update your contact information or make a substitution until October 10th;
- Acknowledgement of your registration via e-mail as soon as you have registered;
- Group registration with multiple payment options.
Each organization has its own registration and social fees. To register, click on the appropriate link below.
Delegate registration fee includes:
• Admission to the scientific programs, poster sessions and exhibition;
• Access to industry-sponsored satellite symposia;
• Copy of the official CCC Final Program and the ECG - Congress Edition;
• Special supplement of the Canadian Journal of Cardiology containing the abstracts;
• Welcome Reception (Saturday, October 25);
• Buffet lunch in the Community Forum and officially scheduled refreshment breaks from Sunday, October 26 to Tuesday, October 28. (Food and beverages are provided in limited quantities and on a first-come, first-served basis).
Payment and Registration Acknowledgement
Registration fees must be paid in full by the appropriate registration deadline (early or regular); otherwise the next fee category will apply.
Payment can be made by credit card (VISA, MasterCard and American Express), cheque (made payable to CCC 2008) or bank draft. You will be asked to provide your Customer Verification Number (CVN) when paying by credit card. Post-dated cheques will not be accepted. Any bank charges incurred must be paid by the registrant and will not be reimbursed by the CCC Secretariat.
Once you have completed and submitted your registration on-line, you will automatically receive an e-mail acknowledging that you have registered for Congress. This e-mail will contain a unique Reference number (Ref#) which will allow you to go back into your personal registration account to update contact information or make a delegate substitution. This service will be available until October 10 only. After this date, all changes must be communicated to the Congress Secretariat in writing.
If you have selected the payment option of cheque or bank draft, you must include a copy of your registration acknowledgement (sent by e-mail) with your payment to ensure your payment is applied to your registration. Please send both the acknowledgment and your payment before the deadline of that fee category; otherwise the next fee category will apply.
Credit Card Payments
Internet Secure, a third-party e-commerce service provider on a secure server, will be collecting e-commerce and cardholder financial information. You will receive a separate e-mail from them confirming your credit card transaction.
Membership Status
If you are registering under a member category, please ensure that your membership is current. Membership status will be verified and if your membership is not current, the non-member category will apply.
Proof of Status
(Full-Time Students, Trainees, Residents, Research Technicians)
To qualify for this rate, the Secretariat must receive within 72 hours of submitting your registration documentation confirming your status. Acceptable forms of documentation include a copy of your student card, a transcript or a letter from your supervisor or Dean. Please send your documents by e-mail (in PDF format) to cardiocongress@intertaskconferences.com or by fax to (613) 236-2727. Your registration will not be considered as complete until your proof of status has been received by the Congress Secretariat.
Registration Cancellations and Refunds
A request for registration cancellations or registration category adjustments must be sent in writing to the Secretariat. A $50 administrative fee (plus GST) will apply. Refunds will not be issued after September 12, 2008.
Substitutions
Substitutions can be made without penalty up until October 10th, 2008. Return to your registration account by entering your Ref# located in the top right corner of the same e-mail. After October 10, requests for delegate substitutions will only be accepted in writing addressed to the CCC Secretariat and are subject to a $50 administrative fee (plus GST).
Guest Category
Some affiliates offer a guest category. To register as a guest, a full paying delegate must complete the guest category information and include the guest fee with his or her own registration fees. A “Guest Pass” provides access to the Community Forum only. A guest wanting to attend any scientific session must register as a full paying delegate.
