Delegate Registration Fee Includes:
- Admission to the scientific programs, poster sessions and exhibition;
- Access to industry co-developed accredited symposia;
- Copy of the official CCC Final Program and the ECG – Congress Edition;
- Special supplement of the Canadian Journal of Cardiology containing the abstracts;
- Welcome Reception (Saturday, October 23);
- Buffet lunch in the Community Forum and officially scheduled refreshment breaks from Sunday, October 24 to Tuesday, October 26. (Food and beverages are provided in limited quantities and on a first-come, first-served basis).
Payment Method
Registration fees must be paid in full by credit card (VISA, Mastercard or American Express) at time of registration. You will be asked to provide your Customer Verification Number (CVN) located on the back of the credit card. Cheques or bank drafts are not accepted as forms of payment.
Acknowledgement
Once you have completed and submitted your registration and payment on-line, you will receive an automatic e-mail acknowledgement of your registration for Congress. The e-mail will contain a unique reference number (Ref#) which will allow you to go back into your personal registration account to update contact information or make a delegate substitution. Internet Secure, a third-party e-commerce service provider on a secure server, will be collecting e-commerce and cardholder financial information. You will instantly receive a second e-mail confirming your credit card transaction from Internet Secure.
Canadian Cardiovascular Society Membership Status
If you are registering under the CCS member category, please ensure that your CCS membership dues are paid in full prior to registering for Congress. CCS Membership status will be verified. If your CCS membership dues have not been paid by the time you register, you must register as a CCS Non-Member. If you register for CCC 2010 as a non-member and then become a CCS member, you will not be eligible for a refund; however your 2011 membership dues will be covered pending approval of your membership application.
If you wish to become a member of CCS you must do so before August 1, 2010 in order to benefit from the CCS member rate for the CCC. Some conditions apply; please contact CCS’ Membership Services for additional information.

Affiliate Membership Status
If you are registering under a member category, please ensure that your membership is current. Membership status will be verified and if your membership is not current, the non-member category will apply.
Proof of Status
(Full-time Students, Trainees, Residents, Research Technicians)
To qualify for this rate, the Secretariat must receive within 72 hours of submitting your registration documentation confirming your status. Acceptable forms of documentation include a copy of your active student card, a transcript or a letter from your supervisor or Dean. Please send your documents by e-mail (in PDF format) to cardiocongress@intertaskconferences.com or by fax to 613-236-2727. Your registration will not be considered complete until your proof of status has been received by the Secretariat.
Registration Cancellations and Refunds
Requests for refunds for registration cancellation or registration category adjustment must be sent in writing and received by the CCC Secretariat prior to September 10, 2010. A $50 administrative fee (plus applicable taxes) will apply. Registration fees are non-refundable after September 10, 2010. Cancelled registrations are non-transferable.
Cancelled activities are not refundable once purchased.
Guest registrant cancellations will be assessed a $25 administration fee (plus applicable taxes).
In cases of emergency, all refund requests received after September 10, 2010 will be processed on a case-by-case basis once the Secretariat returns from CCC2010 in Montreal. Refund requests must be received at the CCC Secretariat in writing, along with supporting documentation, no later than November 30, 2010 in order to be considered.
Substitutions
Substitutions can be made without penalty up until September 24, 2010. Return to your original registration account by entering your reference number located at the top right corner of your confirmation e-mail. After September 24, requests for delegate substitutions will be accepted in writing by the Congress Secretariat and will be subject to a $50 administrative fee (plus applicable taxes).
Guest Category
Some partners offer a guest category. To register as a guest, a full paying delegate must complete the guest category information and include the guest fee with his or her own registration fees. A Guest Pass provides access to the Community Forum only. A guest wanting to attend any scientific sessions must register as a full paying delegate. The full paying delegate must be present at registration on-site to collect the guest badge. Guest registrant cancellations will be assessed a $25 administrative fee (plus applicable taxes).
